Rancid Milk

Hey, yes, hi, hello. I'm a student in my junior year over at the Art Institute of Boston. I'm getting my bachelor's degree in Illustration and a minor in Animation. I live on my own with two roommates, my boyfriend and the world's two best cats. I got a thing for video games, literature, comics and about a million other interests and all the while I'm 20-years-old who still watches cartoons. I hope to get a career in doing concept art for video games, but only time will tell and I still have a lot of work to do down the line.

Consider this a sketchblog of sorts. I'll only be making art related posts, and I only ever reblog art I find inspirational, amazing or helpful. If you have any questions or comments feel free to message or ask me; I'm usually too internet-shy to strike conversations myself, but love chatting.

February Daily Challenge Day 16 & 17 Now everyone can see how sometimes I’ll completely scrap a piece and start over later than I should have. Sometimes when things aren’t working it’s probably due to poor planning, so while fighting this (the one on the left) I did new thumbs for different compositions and even did a few as revised version of the original. I decided the revised version was best and started with the background first… like I should have from the beginning. Once in a while I’ll kick myself in the ass for rushing something, because I’m sick and not working as best as I can, but it’s honestly better to not rush at all since I end up wasting more time in the long run. Good learning experience though. Still learning my own process, revising it, etc. I feel all anxious and such now. - Rancidmilk Note to self: Light that Background about 20% for printing.
